From January to July 2021, the industrial added value of all industries (enterprises above designated size) increased by 14.4% year-on-year, with an average increase of 6.7% in two years. Judging from the growth rate of the month, in July, the industrial added value of all industries (enterprises above designated size) increased by 6.4% year-on-year, which was 1.9 percentage points lower than that in June. The added value of 35 of the 41 major industries maintained a year-on-year growth.
From January to July 2021, the industrial added value of the "printing and recording media reproduction industry" increased by 16.3% year-on-year, which was higher than the average level of 14.4% for all industries. However, judging from the growth rate of the month, the industrial added value growth rate of the printing industry in July was 7.8%, which was 4.4 percentage points lower than that in June, and the rate of decline was greater than the average level of all industries.
From January to July 2021, enterprises above designated size in the printing industry realized operating income, a year-on-year increase of 17.0%. During the same period, all enterprises above industrial scale achieved operating income, a year-on-year increase of 25.6%. The production and sales of the printing industry recovered faster than the same period last year, but the growth rate was lower than the national industrial average.
From January to July 2021, enterprises above designated size in the printing industry realized total profits, a year-on-year increase of 6.4%. During the same period, the total profits of all enterprises above the industrial scale increased by 57.3% year-on-year, and the average increase in two years was 20.2%. Among the 41 major industries, 36 industries achieved a year-on-year increase in total profit, and the profit growth rate of the mining industry and raw material manufacturing industry was high. In the paper industry, which is closely related to the printing industry, the total profit from January to July increased by 58.6% year-on-year, compared with 6.4% in the printing industry, forming a huge contrast.
