Label printer and converter Ulrich invests in a Rotocontrol BL-series booklet label machine in order to broaden their multi-layer label production. The sale was led by Printcon, the recently appointed local Rotocontrol representative.
The Austrian print shop new line is a fully servo BL-series booklet machine equipped with a Longford International OS700X triple motor surge feeder, a lamination station, a Wink SmartGap adjustable anvil cylinder and a full-rotary/semi-rotary combination die-cutting unit that produces booklet labels without changing magnetic cylinders.
Dr Rainer Ulrich, managing director of Ulrich Etiketten. “As multi-layer labels are a fast-growing market for us, we needed to add another machine to production, and Rotocontrol could provide the modularity required in our next investment.”
Based in Vienna-Strebersdorf, Ulrich-Etiketten has, so the company states, an export share of around 30%. Their product portfolio includes self-adhesive and special labels on a continuous roll or on a sheet.
