London-based print, production and finishing service provider, Clicks Print, has extended its print capabilities with the installation of a new HP Indigo 7800 digital press.
The press will replace one of the company's two HP Indigo 5000 presses, and is expected to allow Clicks to expand its capacity and meet growing customer demand.
'As a company, we pride ourselves on being able to provide unrivalled print quality whilst also meeting challenging turnaround times. Our HP print solutions allow us to do just that,' commented Alan Rigglesford, managing director, Clicks Print. 'The installation of the new Indigo 7800 press has enabled us to increase our productivity and improve workflow management, so that we can better meet the growing demand that our business is facing.'
The recently purchased HP Indigo 7800 press includes a number of features, such as One Shot Color technology, which facilitates printing on synthetics, canvas, and lenticular media, enabling production of specialty applications like plastic card.
The press is also enhanced with special effect capabilities and speciality inks including Indigo ElectroInk white, allowing users to print in white on a diverse range of media. The company is also hoping that the new press, with these additional capabilities, will enable the company to extend its print offering into new market sectors.
'With its extensive capabilities, the addition of the HP Indigo 7800 to our portfolio will allow us compete in new market sectors of rapid growth, such as photo printing,' continued Mr Rigglesford. 'Having provided printing services for over 40 years, we are confident that the combination of our expertise with HP's innovative solutions will help Clicks maintain its position at the forefront of digital printing.
